At
the risk of getting whining responses from my readers, I'm gonna do it! I'm going
to ask you to think about the lyrics from a song...knowing full well, once I
mention the song and the refrain...you'll be singing it all week in your head,
and you may 'dislike me intensely' for it. I say ‘intensely’ because ‘hate’ is
really too strong a word to use here. So, read on if you dare...

Tend to Your Own Knitting
I remember the first time my Dad made this statement
to my older brother…I laughed out loud, and I almost got myself in trouble.

Who's the Better Sinner?
You may
have done a double take when you read the title of this blog. But, you read it
correctly. We are ALL sinners. And in God's sight, all sin is equal. So, why
make a distinction amongst sinners? It's because half the battle for us,
sinners, is when we 'call it what it is,' when we come truly clean about sin,
and when we are humble about our view of ourselves. Look at

What Equipment is Needed for the Journey?
The journey to spiritual transformation isn't anything like the Iron Man or triathelete competitions they show on television today! Have you watched one lately? They are elaborate events. Many of the participants have corporate sponsors, and hi-tech equipment, fancy apparel, state of the art bikes, helmets, and goggles. And don't forget about the shoes! The events are hosted in exotic locations like the deserts of Arizona or the lush Hawaiian islands. While participants struggle to contend with nature and the elements, heat exhaustion, and broken bicycle chains, they have a cushy controlled environment in which to run their race as opposed to Christians on their spiritual transformation journey.
Why do I say that?
